Snowflake Challege-Day One

So here they are, in no particular order, the things that give me joy, calm me down or keep me sane, aka My Happy Place:

--A quiet classroom or house.
--That first perfect cup of morning coffee.
--My baby purring.
--Freshly laundered sheets on my bed.
--High/Afternoon tea with my daughter or friends.
--London, NYC, Chicago, San Diego.

Ahh you win! This is why Sundays are the best. Coffee + clean sheets and occasionally a croissant.

Hee! I love Sundays, or really any day I don't have to get up in the dark to get ready to start my day. Coffee and breakfast, be it a croissant or eggs or crepes or anything really are the best.

These are all fantastic. (As much as I hate doing laundry, I love that moment when I first lie down on fresh sheets.)

I like laundry for the mindless, soothing, therapeutic nature of going through the steps and having something that smells so nice at the end. With four kids, I'm pretty sure it's a blessing I like doing laundry. :)

It's going up and down two flights of stairs multiple times that makes me put it off. When I had a washer/dryer in my unit, laundry was a breeze. (I'm hoping I can move into a place with in-unit laundry when my lease comes due this spring, but there's no guarantee that the place I have an eye on will be available.)

Yeah, the whole stairs thing I agree with as well. Especially as I get older and the knees get worse. Hopefully you'll get to a place with in-unit laundry since that makes everything so much easier and better. BTW, I love your Rygel icon. :)

Yeah, it's like gravity gets stronger every year. Ugh.

I made the Rygel icon just today when it suddenly dawned on me that I didn't have a single Farscape icon yet.

Farscape is the only fandom I spent ren years actively writing fic in and I have very fond memories of it and the friends I made there.
