has it really been this long?

wow. it's been a while, hasn't it. fandoms have come, and fandoms have gone. like most weeks, i went in to work on my day off and was productive for six or so hours. in some ways it feels as if nothing has changed and in others it feels like life has marched on and over us in some instances. everything feels different. the new year has started and the inauguration looms in the near furture. in the spirit of the season, i wish us all the best of possible outcomes in daily life, our jobs, and with our families and friends. mostly i wish for us all a little peace.
