...comes the current push to Leave Every Child Behind. cuz biology, you know, is not enough.

as one of the two largest states buying textbooks, and i'm not sure california has enough money to buy them this year, as texas goes, so goes the rest of the nation. cuz publishers really only do a couple of minor revisions to the book they can get texas to sign off on.

i finished and got my remix posted before the deadline. :)

and i'm currently almost finished writing lesson plans and gathering resources for the first trimester of the us history class i am starting to teach in a little over six weeks.

after that i only have the second trimester to create slideshows for, write lesson plans for, and gather resources for.

while i continue to write the online version of said course.

so of course what have i been playing with? an aeryn/gibbs fic that has pooped...uhm plopped into my brain.

oy.

so jpmorgan chase posted a 2.1 billion dollar profit for the first quarter after charging off six billion in bad loans and after taking twenty-five billion in bailout bucks. meanwhile, unemployment went over six million, with my state leading the charge with the highest jump in numbers of claims. the numbers boggle.

besides that, i can't get my markup/cut tags to work and am tired of *bangingmyheadonmydesk*.

so i am sorely in need of some reading material, as i'm tired of writing curriculum and the online course, fic or otherwise; any reccs/suggestions?
